At least that’s what we’re seeing in the latest commercials featuring rancher / beef producer Steve Foglesong in Illinois. And all these years we thought Mcdonald’s was so cheap because they source beef from CAFOs (factory farms) where cows lead a short and miserable life confined to a tiny stall, knee deep in their own poop, munching feed laced with hormones and antibiotics to counter their digestive systems’ inability to properly digest corn instead of grass.

It’s so relieving, and reassuring to hear from rancher Steve that great tasting burgers come from quality beef.

Brilliant McDonald’s! You listened to the sentiment about food sourcing and put together the perfect ad campaign to lull us back to sleep.
