debtor to better

Right on the heels of my Tropical Traditions giveaway (which has ended), I have another one for you! Yippee!

I am pleased to offer my readers a chance to win a copy of the new e-book by Barry Myers, “Debtor to Better”. It’s a must read for anyone who makes money. So I think you qualify.

What will you find in “Debtor to Better”? Practical, no-nonsense financial advice, particularly about debt and how and why you should stay away from it. Or get out of it if you are already knee deep in the stuff.

Personally, my husband and I are debt-free with the exception of our van, which we are paying off at a rapid pace. Even so, I found Barry’s book to be incredibly helpful and insightful. This year, my husband and I are determined to maximize our income to the fullest extent possible, and  use every last bit of money wisely. Barry’s book offers some great advice to that end, helping you through the budgeting process, even if you have a unique situation (like our multiple streams of income that we’ve got going on). Other topics he covers that every household will benefit from:

  • Insurance
  • Marriage & Money
  • Discipline
  • Debt & Debt Management
  • Bankruptcy
Debtor to Better also comes with quite a few different printable worksheets and forms that allow you to work through your own financial situation and develop a working budget.
My favorite part about Debtor to Better is its interactive and introspective qualities. At the end of each section are “Action Steps” you can take to apply what you’ve learned in that chapter. Some of them are actual actions that you will need to do, so it forces you to put into practice what was taught. Others are probing questions that really help you think through the material and your own financial situation and beliefs.
I highly recommend Debtor to Better as a resource for anyone who wants to successfully manage their household finances! Right now, it’s available at an introductory price of $10.  Or you can enter my giveaway! One of my readers will win one copy of Debtor to Better. All you have to do is leave a comment below telling me you want to win. That’s it. Not in the least bit complicated.
This giveaway will end next Tuesday at midnight, and I will announce the winner as soon as possible after that. I will contact the winner via email; so please keep an eye out for that. If I don’t hear from you within three days, I’ll move on to the next person on the list.
