Do you know how to recognize cancer?

There really aren't any signs.

In fact, certain types of cancer have almost no warning signs. But there are some that show specific signs and symptoms. Watch out for these and take action, because it could mean the difference between life and death. Or worse still, prolonged illness and treatment.

What to do?

  • - Be alert to growths or tumors and have them checked immediately
  • - Fatigue and localized pain are signs you should watch for
  • - Sudden headaches
  • - Blood in your stools
  • - Discomfort in certain areas of the body for prolonged periods
  • - A mole that changes shape or color

When you notice any of the above, or any change in your body that does not seem temporary, make an appointment with your doctor to check it out.

So much better to be safe than sorry, right?
