phenoxyethanolWhile paraben preservatives seem to (finally!) fall out of favour, cosmetic industry, even its organic wing, is surprisingly tolerant to phenoxyethanol preservative. It often appears in the ingredients list of otherwise perfectly natural and even organic beauty products. Sometimes the manufacturer would add a clause "derived from grapefruits". So is phenoxyethanol that safe?
