Your skin type depends a lot on your lifestyle and general health as well as the season, work and living environments. There are four basic skin care types: Oily, combination, sensitive, and dry. Each of these types can be sun damaged or acne-prone.
Your skin type is determined by the amount of oil your skin produces and the thickness of your skin. Genes, diet, stress levels, medications you may be taking, and even your skincare regimen all determine the current type your skin belongs to. There's no set type your skin must belong to forever. As you age or when your life circumstances change, so may your skin type change, too.
